We are extremely pleased to announce that the University of San Diego has joined the Open Library of Humanities' Library Partnership Subsidy system. The University of San Diego is a Roman Catholic institution committed to advancing academic excellence, expanding liberal and professional knowledge, creating a diverse and inclusive community and preparing leaders who are dedicated to ethical conduct and compassionate service.
The Open Library of Humanities is an academic-led, gold open-access publisher with no author-facing charges. With funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the platform covers its costs by payments from an international library consortium, rather than any kind of author fee.
Professor Martin Paul Eve, a founder and academic project director of the OLH, welcomed the University of San Diego: “It is fantastic to have the support of the University of San Diego .With the help of the University of San Diego, we will continue to expand our vision of high-quality open access to research in the humanities.”
