The Open Library of Humanities Shortlisted for Three Publishing Awards

We are delighted to announce that the Open Library of Humanities has been shortlisted for three different publishing awards: two Association of Publishers (AOP) Digital Publishing Awards in the categories of Best Digital Publishing Innovation and Small Digital Publisher of the Year, and the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) Awards for Innovation in Publishing 2020. 

AOP Digital Publishing Awards 2020

The AOP Digital Publishing Awards 2020 set the industry standard for benchmarking and celebrating the best teams, the best brands, and best practice in innovative, creative digital publishing. The winners will be announced in an online Awards Ceremony broadcast on Thursday 15 October. The UK Association of Online Publishers (AOP) is an industry body representing digital publishing companies that create original, branded, quality content. Formed in 2002, AOP publishes original research, and hosts forums, awards and conferences, covering a range of topics including programmatic advertising, native advertising, the value of data, content models, cross device and mobile specific development, affiliate commerce, video and other key topics.

ALPSP Awards for Innovation in Publishing 2020

Every year the ALPSP Awards bring the scholarly communications community together to celebrate the very best in the industry. All finalists will present their submission to the judges in July. They will be also invited to showcase their innovation to industry peers at the ALPSP Awards Lightning session to be held online on Tuesday 8 September. The winners will be announced on Wednesday 16 September at the opening of the ALPSP Virtual Conference & Awards 2020. The Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) is an international membership trade body that supports and represents not-for-profit organizations and institutions that publish scholarly and professional content. With nearly 300 members in 30 countries, membership also includes those that work with these publishers. Its mission is to connect, inform, develop and represent the international scholarly and professional publishing community.
