Join the Janeway team – We are recruiting a Publishing Technology Developer

The Birkbeck Centre for Technology and Publishing is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the Janeway publishing platform software engineering team in this exciting remote working opportunity.
Joining a team of two developers, the post-holder’s main role will be to help lead the development of open-source publishing technologies for use across the College and within its various publishing projects. We are looking for someone with experience using, developing and deploying open-source projects, preferably using Python3 and Django. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate proven project management and organisational skills and have a track record of successful development of software systems.
This role will be based at the Centre for Technology and Publishing which develops software solutions for the Open Library of Humanities (OLH). The Janeway platform is used by OLH to publish its journals and is used by clients around the world as part of our hosted solution. More information on Janeway can be found at the following pages:
