OLH Technology: 2024 Highlights

This year has been a productive and exciting one for OLH Technology. Here’s a look at our key achievements:
Platform and Website Development
- Successfully developed and deployed the revamped Open Library of Humanities website.
- Began development of a new Janeway marketing site.
Hosting and Migration Services
- Launched new hosted services for Aberdeen University Press, Aperio Press, University of Wollongong, and CDRXIV, with four more currently in progress.
- Completed seven complex journal migrations and delivered various custom styling projects for OLH-hosted journals.
Feature Enhancements
- Developed new supporter tools to enhance the experience for OLH supporters.
- Launched and began actioning our accessibility improvement project (View project).
Janeway Development
- Released 10 new versions of Janeway (View releases).
- Delivered numerous plugin updates to extend and enhance Janeway functionality.
Collaboration and User Experience Focus
- Began a collaboration with the California Digital Library to conduct user research aimed at improving the dashboard.
- Invested in user experience research, with this project laying the foundation for future UX redesigns of the platform.
