Maureen P. Walsh is Associate Professor and Scholarly Sharing Strategist for The Ohio State University Libraries where she heads the Scholarly Sharing Program Area. Maureen is currently serving a second term to support the community-based governance of DSpace as the Chair of the DSpace Leadership and Steering Groups and is a past Chair of the DSpace Community Advisory Team. In addition to DSpace, Maureen is actively involved with the governance of arXiv, having served five years on the arXiv Member Advisory Board representing the Big Ten Academic Alliance and she is currently serving as Chair of the arXiv Institutions Advisory Council and as a member of the arXiv Advisory Board. Maureen is also a member of the OA2020 US Community of Practice Planning Team and the NISO Open Access Business Processes Working Group and a standing member of the Open Repositories Steering Committee.

I am very active in international open access and open source communities and bring seventeen years of community-based governance experience and service to the OLH Library Board.”
