Duke joins OLH LPS membership plan

We're extremely pleased to announce that Duke University has signed up to financially support the Open Library of Humanities. Duke University is an internationally prestigious institution with a mission “to advance the frontiers of knowledge and contribute boldly to the international community of scholarship”.

The Open Library of Humanities is a strongly peer-reviewed, open-access, not-for-profit, academic-led publisher that works to pool costs between libraries. This model is specifically designed for the humanities disciplines where funding is less abundant. Unlike many other offerings there are no author-facing charges in the OLH model for open access.

Dr. Martin Paul Eve, one of the founders and academic project directors of the OLH, welcomed Duke University: “It is wonderful to see Duke join the Open Library of Humanities LPS model. We are extremely grateful for the library's participation and hope to provide a strong return on investment.”
