OLH Project Directors Dr Martin Eve and Dr Caroline Edwards were recently invited to speak at the AHRC-funded Forms of Innovation event series for the workshop "Humanities, Copyright and New Technology." The workshop was held in the Department of English Studies at the University of Durham on Saturday 27th April 2013, and addressed the way in which new technologies are extending our understanding of copyright and information dissemination within academic research in the humanities disciplines. Martin and Caroline gave a presentation and convened a discussion which explored the new possibilities for research offered by open access megajournals, including the OLH.

Other sessions included Professor Ronan Deazley's "crash course" in copyright law for humanities scholars (which touched upon the CREATe project that Ronan runs), and Dr Ernesto Priego's workshop on "New Media and Issues of Authorship and Attribution."
