Birkbeck, University of London, the Open Library of Humanities, and the University of Huddersfield will be co-hosting a launch party in Bloomsbury, London for the Journal of Embodied Research. Join us in celebrating the launch of this important new video essay journal on the Open Library of Humanities' publishing platform – the party will take place on Wednesday 8th February, 6-8pm in The Keynes Library at the School of Arts, 43 Gordon Square (see building number 13 on this map to find Birkbeck's School of Arts).

Please click here to reserve your FREE TICKET for the launch party via Eventbrite.

The Journal of Embodied Research offers the OLH the chance to produce a truly cutting-edge bridging between scholarship and videography; something that responds to a pressing need among scholars and practitioners for a prestigious journal in this exciting and dynamic field. JER will be relevant to a wide number of disciplines, including Theatre, Dance & Performance Studies, Film & Media Studies, Anthropology & Neuroanthropology, Cultural Studies, and Disability Studies, that encompass the Humanities, Medicine, Arts, and Sports Science, as well as professional Performing Arts practice and Expressive Arts Therapies.

We hope to see many of you there!

All best wishes,

Caroline, Martin and the JER editorial team.
