CHASE placement opportunity at the Open Library of Humanities to assist with Editorial, Marketing and Technical duties

The Open Library of Humanities is seeking a PhD student to assist with editorial, marketing and technical duties as part of our small, hardworking team. The placement is available to arts and humanities PhD students at CHASE member institutions. The position is fully set up for remote working, and applications for full or part time placements will be considered.

During the placement, you will gain editorial, marketing, technical and administrative experience under the supervision of the OLH team. The placement holder will have the opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of the publishing process, from copyediting and production to experience using our in-house publication platform, Janeway, checking editorial compliance, and other duties to assist across the OLH team as required. While tasks across our editorial, marketing and technical teams will be part of the role, the placement can also be geared towards to the holder’s skills and interests by discussion prior to appointment. The placement is available for 6 months full time, or equivalent part time for up to 12 months by arrangement.

Placement start date: October 2021, or as soon as possible
