Shiela Winchester is the Librarian for Archaeology, Classics, Germanic Studies, Philosophy, and Religious Studies at the University of Texas Libraries. She offers research and class instruction support for faculty and students who are working on a wide range of humanities topics.
Statement of interest.
“I have worked as a Liaison Librarian, Bibliographer, and Selector in various Humanities (and Global Studies) fields for 20+ years at the University of Texas at Austin. I have watched with interest the changes in publishing models over this time, and have been actively involved locally in UT-Austin’s support of and trials for various Open Access initiatives. I’m interested in continuing to contribute to this conversation as a member of the OLH Library Board.”
