We are very pleased to announce that the OLH's in-house digital publishing platform Janeway has partnered with Open Publishing at UMass Amherst to migrate their journals and conference proceedings. Open Publishing at UMass Amherst provides publishing services for open-access journals and conference proceedings produced by faculty, staff, and students of the University of Massachusetts Amherst. The platform is managed by the UMass Amherst Libraries.

“The Janeway team are excited to join forces with UMass Amherst to support their Open Publishing programme,” said Andy Byers, Director of Publishing Technologies at Birkbeck, University of London. “We look forward to working together to promote academy owned open source software and open library publishing.”

“With the creation and dissemination of open scholarship being a core component of our mission, the UMass Amherst Libraries are pleased to be working with the team from Janeway to make the work of UMass faculty and researchers more accessible, for the betterment of the Commonwealth and the world," said Nandita Mani, Dean of University Libraries at UMass Amherst.

About Janeway: Janeway is a digital platform designed for publishing scholarly research material. Launched in 2017, the platform provides a workflow for the submission, processing, and presentation of scholarly materials. Janeway is currently being used by the OLH journals as well as by other scholarly publishers, including California Digital Library, MIT, University of Michigan, UCL Press, New York University, TU Darmstadt, Society for Clinical Data Management, Iowa State University, Dublin City University, University of Ghent, and University of Westminster Press.
